Full Stop...

Everybody seem to have forgotten this and what has happened actually. Every story needs to be concluded as I am wrapping this up of ours. Adding some flavors so that it doesn't look that disappointing. And surprisingly, I am writing this when I am almost due for my second vacation. Time just flew past in front of us.

The much awaited vacation was finally granted and I flew with my wings ignited with the extra bonus I got from my office. It was a bonus earned from the management of the current project I have been handling. Transferred safe to my NRI account without wasting a single penny; I am now at the advantage of a wallet full of money while considering the previous doubtful me without the real money in hands. Off course, I could now say that money definitely could give you a confidence booster.

I touched down at Cochin in April 2015 were I remember my mum was awaiting me in tears. Almost 3.5 years after I saw her. The affection of her sons home coming was visible when none around was a problem for her. Reached home with the rush of making the best vacation of a life time.

Got my machine by the end of April 2015; the much awaited and longed re-built Royal Enfield. The first picture I took at the workshop with all delight to the ride back home. It was stunning to be said and the talk of the town at least at my home town. Some said it was very expensive considering the pay I made; but it was the much needed break for an NRI with the power of money. I really never cared but was swept away from the classy looks with the single seated travel I made each time.

The ride was being cooked up ready for serving at our club " Royal Thumpers" but without Rahul. I had called him to join but he could not as being in a tight schedule at his office. Sometimes everything just do not happen in the best sync. The excitement of the trip I had cannot be recreated by sitting at the blog after almost  two years(current day being Jan 1st 2017). So I decide to copy what I had posted on my FB wall after I reached back home after the extraordinary moments I had during the travel.

Trip of Valparai with Royal Thumpers:
Fun it is when you thump with your Royal Enfield. What if you had a 20 of them together on the way? That could be something which one could describe our journey. Added with 80% of the journey through the forest ranges of Kerela and Tamil Nadu nature did give the thump back reflecting every beat of the Royal Enfield. What else could pump your veins with adrenaline? A small theme that came into the mind of one of our co-riders which we chose "Protect Nature" and in solidarity towards the World Environment Day coming up on June 5th. Proud that we weren't just riding but at least had this small but valuable theme in mind. We observed the diverse climatic conditions through our journey cold to extreme heat waves and it was the ride along the forest ranges gave us the value of trees in our environment. Cool breeze on to the face; it was heaven. No mobile coverage added to the trips success with only focus of ours on riding and sight seeing. Nature is perfect in the way it is and as always it relaxes your mind from your worldly pressures. Everybody loved their ride and on a funny note I could tell the 500cc's RE outwitted the old standard 350's including mine. But we argued on the riding comfort and the feel of a pure RE but hardly know who won. On our way back we planted a small tree with the forest officers of Chinnar which was handed over to us by our Chief Guest who flagged off our journey.
I had noticed the quote on our official facebook page "Monsoon Beat" before the ride and as a closing note nature did show it's love. One could indeed boast by saying that we brought the rains on our return. Literally everybody drenched in the heavy down pour as we headed down the routes to home sweet home."

The best pic which could be shared from the trip would be this one.................

It was almost time that I had to wind this vacation and get back to work. The power of money now being slowly shifted back to Abudhabi. That was all and the wallet was turning empty each day. But off-course did some of the best things which could have never been possible for me. Re-payed by education loan, shared small but worth gifts to my family, friends & relatives and some works to make my Home Sweet Home even a better place.
Sitting back home in one of those days, I invited Rahul to come visit my home. It was a weekend for him and he just said I am coming. By the way, I should mention that I had met him a couple of times at Cochin during my visit to my relatives and my travel to GOA. But surprisingly, this happened just like that which makes it worth while to be a sweet memory of my vacation.  I believe, sharing a pic of us together on a day at my home town is worth at the closing of the blog. Nothing better could have happened even though realizing what had been planned initially never actually happened.

At the realm of senses in Abudhabi at present time, I sit back yawning after a New Years Eve of 2017 to at-least complete to do this task of mine pending since a very long time. Longing for another vacation and a ride on my RE when I asked my sister to post me a video of my bike kept alive by my father these days. I long for that Royal Rumble in my ears...............
